Father Time has never been defeated. And he never will be.

It’s safe to say you are the underdog.

But here’s a three-punch combo so you can at least go down swinging.

The Jab:

The jab is boring.

It doesn’t end the fight.

It keeps you from getting knocked out early.

Bryan Johnson has mastered the jab.

He uses every tool available to protect his health.

He can do this because he’s a multi-millionaire with nothing else competing for his attention.

You are probably not a multi-millionaire.

You probably have important responsibilities.

That’s fine. You don’t need his whole routine. Just the punches that land.

Sleep: Treat it like a full-time job. Show up on time. Leave on time. Eight hours.

Exercise: Train strength and endurance. Show up. Even if you don’t feel like it.

Diet: Mostly real food. Not too much.

None of this wins the fight.

But it keeps you upright.

Miss enough jabs and the fight ends early.

The Uppercut:

The reason anyone wants more time is simple.

To have more good moments.

The uppercut is realizing you don’t need to wait.

Don’t delay the life you are optimizing for.

Don’t postpone joy until “someday.”

If you fill your days now, you never run out of time.

You only run out when you keep saving life for later.

The Hook:

Here’s the hard pill to swallow:

You will lose.

This is no feel-good underdog story.

There will be no late-round miracle.

At some point in the not-so-distant future, you will go down.

But when you disappear, not everything does.

The people you helped are still standing.

The ideas you shared are still moving.

The moments you created still echo.

You can’t beat Father Time.

But you can make sure he doesn’t erase you completely.

And that’s how you go down swinging.
